Today, a new brand-spanking version of Firefox is out. They are trying to set a world record by having the most downloads in one day. It has been dubbed “Download Day”. Not too creative, but that doesn’t matter. If you use Firefox (and everyone should), all you need to do is go and participate by downloading it. So what are you waiting for? Go download it!
Let me start off by saying that if you want to support Linux, then use TeamSpeak. But if you’re like me and for some reason you must use Ventrilo, then you’ve come to the right place. Ventrilo can work under Linux using WINE. Quite easily too. That is, if you follow this guide.
I haven’t been excited for something like this in a while. I remember hearing about this a few years ago, but quickly pushing it aside knowing I was too young to participate. This year, though, I’m 18, and I finally intend on participating in Google’s Summer of Code. I have lost many a night’s sleep just thinking about it. Call me a geek if you want, but just the idea of helping out in a large open source project gets me all excited. Which is actually funny considering I’ve never actually done anything open source related.
This is actually old news, for me anyway. But, I thought I’d share it with the rest of the world. Asus recently came out with a monitor that was invincible. No, like really invincible. Don’t believe me? Well, here is a video for you.
I have rid myself of them.
Let me back up a little. I used to be an iTunes evangelist. I literally went around and told my friends to go and use iTunes. You won’t regret it, I used to say. It’s really easy to use! You don’t need to have an iPod. And for the most part, I was right in saying these things. iTunes is easy to use, and it really does have an awesome interface. It’s very simple and very powerful at the same time. Overall, a really great application.
