No updates for a while, eh? I forgot to mention that I was leaving on a 2 week trip to Serbia. I came back two days ago, and now I’m finally settled in. I actually began keeping a travel log, sort of like a diary or journal, while I was there. I got to about day 7, and after that I just stopped. I didn’t have time for it anymore.

Vreel LogoToday, a new brand-spanking version of Firefox is out. They are trying to set a world record by having the most downloads in one day. It has been dubbed “Download Day”. Not too creative, but that doesn’t matter. If you use Firefox (and everyone should), all you need to do is go and participate by downloading it. So what are you waiting for? Go download it!

Wordpress 2.5 And My Upcoming Hiatus

About a week ago, Wordpress came out with version 2.5. Having finally freed my self from the shackles of Fantastico, I went straight to the Wordpress site, and downloaded it. However, being tired, I forgot to disable all the plugins I had installed, and upgraded with all of the plugins being enabled. For those of you who don’t know, you’re supposed to deactivate everything while upgrading. Fortunately, the heavens smiled upon me that day and the upgrade process was smooth and flawless.

Goodbye GSoC, At Least For Now

Bah. I knew something would come up. I knew it. I had big plans to participate in Google’s Summer of Code this year, but alas it looks like I won’t be able to. I actually knew I wasn’t going to a few days back, but now it’s pretty much official. I’m going to be taking a few extra courses at my university this summer, and I’m going on vacation. There is no possible way I can fit a project in between all that.
