A pretty bold claim to make, isn’t it? Well, I’m not saying anything incorrect here. It just happens to be the truth. Being Canadian, I’m affected by America’s politics. That’s why it was very troubling for me when I saw this video.
My closer friends will know that I’m a strong and very vocal advocate for freedom of speech. To think that a political candidate - no, America’s next potential president - would go to such lengths as to remove an old lady that’s just expressing her opinion, is truly something to be worried about. Imagine the kind of power this man will have if he becomes president. How can any American vote for someone who hates freedom of speech? And I do say hate, because what else could it be other than that?
Wake the hell up, America. You recently celebrated the 4th of July. Your day of independence. You have been reminded about what your countrymen have done in the past to keep freedom of speech, and all the wonderful liberties you all take for granted today. This man is destroying the very thing America’s fathers didn’t want destroyed. This man is destroying the very thing every soldier is fighting for today. Please wake up, and see that this man would be the wrong person to lead your country.
With that said, I have a few words for McCain. Take a look at your policies. You are the same as Mr. Bush. There is no way around it, sir. I really do hope people around the world, and especially America, see this video. They need to see what your campaign really stands for.
